
August 16, 1977 Elvis Presley was rushed to Baptish Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Doctors' were unable to revive Him And He was pronounced dead on coronary arrhythmia at 3:30 p.m. at the age 42, Mourning Fans by the Thousands kept a Three-day vigil before Elvis Burial; Thousands more would line the streets of Presley's Hometown the Day of Funeral. Elvis had unprecedented 107 hits on the pop charts and an unprecedented number of fans. His first Hit Was "Heartbreak Hotel" in 1956 and His Last-- one of two RCA hits Released after His Death was "Guitar Man" in 1981. Presley had 28 Gold records, 12 Number One songs and 38 Top Ten Hits, Presley is Buried at Graceland which is now a Major Tourist Attraction.
August 16, 1984 (On His 7th Death Anniversary)While it never made it on to the pop music Charts, RCA Victor Records released a New Elvis Presley Single. the song, "Baby, let's play House" was originally recorded at the Tupelo, Mississippi Fairgrounds in 1956.
