Nov 22,1963: 46 Years Hence
The Legacy of JFK is Extremely difficult, but for sure is a formidable one. Aged just 43 when elected the youngest US President ever, John Fitzgerald Kennedy pronounced these now immortal words at his presidential inauguration: "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for..."Eloquence aside, that's a substantive message, and one with timeless significance if societal maturity is ever to be achieved.
But the truth is, before Lee Harvey Oswald's bullets felled him on that fateful afternoon 46 years ago this month(November 22, 1963) in Dallas, JFK's Historical mark had far transcended U.S. soil in what should be regarded as the most telling international event of the last 60 years- possibly even of all ages, civilizations and life on this planet as we know it.
